Nepal is a Himalayan land-locked country located on the India subcontinent, bordered by China to the north and by India to the South. It is a country with varied habitats, from mountains to deserts, wetlands and grasslands and this in turn has created a high diversity of over 900 bird species. Bird-Photo-Tours ASIA’ Nepal workshops will focus on generating close photographic encounters with many of Nepal’s special birds including the Satyr Tragopan, Himalayan Monal and Blood Pheasant. In addition to photographing birds, Nepal also offers breathtaking landscapes, such as snow-capped mountains, wetlands and lush forests, enhancing the overall experience of being in nature whilst observing birds.
