Malaysia is located in South East Asia, bordered by Thailand to the north and by Singapore and Indonesia to the south. Malaysia is a country with varied habitats ranging from tropical rainforests and highland forests to river valleys and wetlands, and this in turn has created a high diversity of over 700 bird species. Bird-Photo-Tours ASIA’ Malaysia workshops will focus on generating close photographic encounters with many of the country’s special birds including Broadbills, Kingfishers and Pittas. In addition to photographing birds, Malaysia also offers breathtaking landscapes, such as coastal views, misty mountains and lush rainforests, enhancing the overall experience of being in nature whilst observing birds.
